How to Play

🎃 Boss Mode (QR Code Creator)

Step 1

Select "Boss" mode to create a hunting room

Step 2

Print QR codes (CREATURE_001 through CREATURE_009)

Step 3

Hide QR codes around your neighborhood

Step 4

Share your room code with hunters and watch the fun begin!

👻 Hunter Mode (Player)

Step 1

Select "Hunter" mode and enter the party code

Step 2

Set up your team (1-4 players) and team name

Step 3

Hunt for hidden QR codes in your neighborhood

Scan codes to capture creatures and earn XP

Capture all 9 creatures to face the Pumpkin King!

Speed matters! Earn more XP by capturing creatures quickly:

25 XP - Captured within 5 minutes
15 XP - Captured within 5-10 minutes
5 XP - Captured after 10+ minutes

What are the QR codes?

QR codes are special codes that contain creature identifiers (CREATURE_001 through CREATURE_009). The Boss player prints and hides these codes for Hunters to find.

How many players can join?

Up to 4 players can play together on a single device, sharing the same team and working together to capture all creatures.

Do I need internet to play?

The core gameplay works offline! You only need internet for leaderboard syncing and sharing results.

What devices are supported?

HallowSeek requires iOS 18 or later. It's optimized for iPhone 11 and newer models.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes! HallowSeek is family-friendly with a built-in safety warning. We always recommend adult supervision when kids are exploring neighborhoods.

Can I play the same game twice?

Absolutely! The Boss can hide QR codes in different locations each time, creating a new adventure every game.
